Welcome to the Ulverston A.R.L.F.C website.

 

Ulverston Amateur Rugby League club has been going for over 100 years and although many  things have changed in that time, one thing has stayed constant; the love for the sport. Ulverston has players from the age of 5 all the way through to those in their 40’s who are still going strong. At least one team can usually be found down at the Dragley Beck pitch of a weekend , whether it be one of the open age teams on Saturdays (the 1st Team currently play in division 3 of the Northwest counties and the A team play in the Barrow and District League) or one of the youth teams on a Sunday. The youth teams are very popular and consist of the under 8’s, 10’s, 12’s, 14’s, 16’s,  all of whom play in their relevant Barrow and District age group league.

We are a friendly club with a safe and yet challenging environment who strives to train players to the best of their capability welcoming players of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. Training is on Monday and Wednesday nights for players over the age of 16 and Thursday night’s for players under 16. So whether you would like to come along and join in, help out or just come and watch, you can always have a good laugh down at our club.
